According to researchers from Yale University, United States (U.S.), following traditional gender roles during sex can make a woman feel less comfortable in the bedroom.

Gender and norms play an important role in sexual behavior between women and men, and involves components of power. In the U.S., there is a belief that women become the subject, while men became dominant in matters of sex.

These dynamics can have a large effect on sexual attitudes bigger. The findings show that the younger adult women support the traditional power       dynamics, they are increasingly confident and competent in terms of sexuality.

After 357 women and 126 men, aged 18-29 years, all sexually active heterosexual and recruited, the researchers found that women do not have to believe that men should dominate in sex.

Lisa Rosenthal, who led the study published in the journal Sex Roles research, asking subjects responded to survey questions about their sexual confidence and sexual assertiveness in a private room terturup.
